graduating is a bitch.
so i went to my degree evaluator to make sure that everything is a-okay for graduation next semester. changing my major last minute and deciding to go onto graduate school for Genetic Counseling extended my undergraduate degree one year, but i think it all happened for the best. unfortunately, i was unaware that one of my GE areas is not fulfilled and i need 6 more units of upper division GE courses and one more CHDV elective in order to graduate. i’m maxed out at 20 units for Spring 2010, so i was starting to feel the burn of disappointment. fortunately, after talking to my degree evaluator a little more, i figured out that i can take two classes during winter intercession — completing both my GE requirement & my CHDV elective requirement. i’m crossing my fingers that my degree evaluator will be able to get my CHDV elective approved as a GE cource so that i can get my 6 units of upper division GE completed. if not, then i’m gonna have to take an upper division GE class online at BYU, which costs extra money. i’m planning on quitting my current job and getting a job with less hours & less stress after this semester, which means money is going to be extra tight.
wish me luck.
